As a Tax Manager, you will have an important role in overseeing the tax staff and working closely with clients to develop tax strategies. This position has a fast-track opportunity to advance to Tax Partner. Candidates will help lead and manage our growth, identify and seize new business opportunities, supervise staff and work closely with other partners as we continue to expand our practice.
Experience and Qualifications:
• Ability to plan client engagements, provide tax consulting services, supervise and review work of team staff members, as well as work closely with internal managers and partners.
• Responsible for tax return issuance and ensure adherence with professional guidelines and firm policies.
• Manage all tax engagements to ensure meeting of all compliance and other deadlines.
• Prepare and/or review individual, corporate and partnership tax returns of varying complexities.
• Experience with tax preparation and research software required.
• Bachelor’s degree required and CPA preferred with a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in Public Accounting.
• Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.
• Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-energy environment.

As a Tax Senior, you will have an important role in working closely with clients to develop tax strategies as well as work closely with our partners as we continue to expand our practice. This can be a part time and/or seasonal role.

Audit Senior
Naperville CPA firm is seeking an Audit Senior to join our team. In this highly visible role, the Senior will have frequent interaction with client teams, partners, and staff. This position has the potential fast track opportunity to advance to Audit Manager or Audit Partner. We serve a variety of clients focusing on non-profit organizations and private companies. We offer a complete range of accounting and tax services and are currently looking to expand our audit department. Local travel to clients (when appropriate) will be required.
Qualifications and skills:
• Bachelor of Arts or Science in Accounting.
• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for CPA exam.
• 3-5 years of experience in public accounting and auditing financial statements with the ability to act as in-charge on engagements.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word required.
• Experience with Caseware and Lacerte is a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the audit process from planning to completion of all required financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverables.
• Build client relationships and assure continued close personal attention to their needs.
• Work as team member to complete assigned audit area or task.
• Conduct risk assessment and perform test of transactions and account balances.
